What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. It makes it possible to recognise your browser from one page to the next, to remember a choice, or to measure visitor numbers. We use the word "cookie" here in its broad sense, to cover equivalent technologies as well: local storage, pixels, session identifiers.
The principle we apply
Nothing that is not strictly necessary is placed without your agreement.
Cookies necessary for the site to work are placed without consent, as the law allows. All the others, namely non-exempt audience measurement, personalisation and advertising, require your prior agreement, obtained through the banner displayed on your first visit.
Refusing is as easy as accepting. The banner includes a refusal button on the same level as the acceptance button. Refusing does not prevent you from using the site or from completing an assessment.

Without them the site does not work: your answers would be lost from one page to the next.

The information collected by these trackers is kept for 25 months at most, then deleted or anonymised.
Advertising and personalisation
We do not currently place any. Should that change, the banner would inform you and obtain your agreement before anything was placed.
Changing your choices
You may change your mind at any time:
- through the "Manage my cookies" link in the footer
- through your browser settings, which allow you to block or delete cookies already placed: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.
Blocking all cookies through your browser will degrade your experience: the language will no longer be remembered, and the questionnaire may reset.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some audience measurement tools may send an IP address or a technical identifier outside the European Union. Such transfers, where they take place, are governed by the safeguards in Chapter V of the GDPR. They are made only after you have given your consent.
Your rights
The data processed by means of cookies is covered by our Privacy policy, which sets out your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability, together with how to exercise them.
You may bring any complaint before the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr.
