Activity

Lif8 is a building longevity consultancy. It offers, under the name “The Lif8 Protocol”, environmental assessment services for living spaces, together with a consulting and client-side advisory engagement covering the feasibility study, specification, site monitoring and equipment selection.

Lif8 carries out no works and sells no equipment. Works, supplies and third-party services are contracted and paid for by the client, directly with the companies and the suppliers. Lif8 invoices its consultancy fees alone. It is neither a project manager, nor a contractor, nor a manufacturer, nor an importer.

Lif8 is not a healthcare provider. No service, no report and no content published on this site constitutes medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment.

Lif8 does not carry out regulated property survey activities. The services offered are in no way a substitute for the mandatory technical surveys: energy performance, asbestos, lead, gas, electricity, termites, statement of risks. These fall exclusively within the remit of certified operators within the meaning of Articles L.271-4 et seq. of the French Construction and Housing Code.

Intellectual property

All the elements making up this site, namely its structure, texts, images, photographs, illustrations, graphics, logos, trade marks, page layouts and source code, together with the “The Lif8 Protocol” trade mark, the framework that bears that name, its structure, its criteria, its weightings and its reading grids, are the exclusive property of Lif8 or of its licensors, and are protected by French and international intellectual property law.

Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, extraction or re-use, in whole or in part, by any means whatsoever and on any medium whatsoever, is prohibited without Lif8’s prior written authorisation. The only permitted uses are copies strictly reserved for the private use of the person making them, together with analyses and short quotations justified by the critical, educational or informative nature of the work, provided that the source is clearly stated.

Any unauthorised use engages the liability of its author and constitutes an infringement punishable under Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

The extraction and re-use of a qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of the content of the databases created by Lif8 are prohibited under Articles L.342-1 et seq. of the same code.
